Editorial follow-up: what a practice case study should show
Label it "self-directed sample" or "practice project" near the title. Show the brief, the original material you were permitted to use, two or three important decisions and the final deliverable. Explain a limitation as well as a strength.
For a website audit sample, separate confirmed issues from suggestions that need access to analytics or server data. For writing, explain the intended reader and how claims were checked. The aim is to let a buyer inspect your reasoning and output without implying that a real client commissioned or endorsed the work.
