Privacy & community data

BacklinkTalk is a public SEO discussion forum. This notice explains how information is used when you browse, register, or contribute.

Information the forum stores

MyBB stores your chosen username, email address, password hash, registration and activity timestamps, and IP addresses associated with registration and posts. It also stores the profile information and messages you submit. Session cookies keep you signed in and support basic forum features. An activation email verifies the address supplied when registering.

Public contributions

Usernames, approved posts, and the public profile fields you choose to complete may be visible to visitors and search engines. Email addresses and registration IP addresses are restricted to forum administration. Do not submit passwords, confidential client data, or information you do not have permission to share.

Moderation & research

Submitted content may be reviewed before publication. The forum also studies automated registrations and unsolicited submissions to understand forum abuse. Administrators may analyze account activity, timestamps, IP addresses, and submitted content for this purpose. An account being included in this analysis does not mean its owner is a bot. Research exports are restricted to authorized administration.

Your choices

Use a separate forum password. You can review profile settings in your user control panel. To request review or removal of personal information, contact forum administration through the contact link. Avoid including sensitive information in public messages.

Cookies & external sites

The forum uses cookies for sessions and preferences. Links to other websites are controlled by their operators. External content and providers have their own privacy practices.
