Editorial follow-up: add a skipped-opportunities log
A journal can record hypothetical situations considered but rejected, with the reason written at the time. Reviewing only completed simulations can hide inconsistent selection. Use a separate list so rejected ideas do not become invented trades after prices move. At review time, examine whether the stated rules were applied consistently, rather than awarding imaginary gains to opportunities that were never part of the original experiment.
