Editorial follow-up: separate a clerical correction from a rule change
If an entry contains a typing error, retain the original value and note the correction with its date and reason. If the method changes, start a new version rather than retroactively making old trades follow the new rule. Those actions have different meanings. Keeping both visible makes a simulation reviewable and reduces accidental improvement of results through hindsight.
