A page saying “write for us” does not answer the most useful question: would a contribution help the publication's readers?
Before pitching a guest post, I would read recent articles, identify the audience, check the author and editorial information, and write down an unanswered question the proposed piece could address. Then review the contribution rules and any commercial terms.
Share a publication example if you can explain the audience fit and the original contribution you would propose. Please identify any affiliation. A useful opportunity discussion should give a writer more to work with than a domain metric or a promise that a link will be included.

I would inspect whether contributor articles receive the same editing and presentation as the publication's other material.
An opportunity that accepts unrelated drafts with no clear review process needs closer scrutiny. The pitch should be about a useful article the editor could reasonably want to publish.

Look for a gap in the existing coverage before proposing a title. A new article can add an original example, a clearer method or evidence the current coverage lacks.
Rephrasing an existing article gives the editor little reason to accept another version.

The next step could be a short pitch outline: reader question, proposed answer, original material and why this publication is the right home.
If those points are clear, the contribution rules become practical constraints. If they are missing, an inviting submission page does not make the idea ready.
