Editorial follow-up: a high win rate can still hide a loss
Consider a hypothetical record with eight winning sessions of $10 each and two losing sessions of $60 each. The session win rate is 80%, but the total is $80 minus $120: a $40 loss before any fees.
This is why a claim such as "I win most days" tells us little about profitability. The size of each gain and loss matters. A useful discussion should include the full record and clearly distinguish money deposited, money withdrawn and any balance still held on the site.
