A pitch should make it easy to evaluate the destination before responding. Use the direct resource URL and explain what is original or useful about it.
If the arrangement involves payment or another incentive, state that plainly and consider the appropriate link qualification. Treat an editor's decision to decline as an ordinary outcome, not a defect in the outreach process.
