Editorial follow-up: avoid turning scrutiny into a testimonial
Confirming that an arithmetic calculation is correct does not verify that the underlying events happened. Likewise, confirming a historical result does not establish future profitability. Keep those findings in separate sentences when writing a review. A clear review might say the calculation is reproducible from the supplied data while the completeness and authenticity of that data remain unverified.
