Editorial follow-up: a useful terms-comparison worksheet
Record the date checked, regulator, exact promotion, qualifying amount, wagering basis, eligible activity, expiry date and withdrawal conditions. Keep a copy of the terms you actually saw, because a summary on a comparison site can omit important details.
Use an "unclear" column rather than guessing. If you cannot explain the qualifying calculation and what happens to your cash balance in plain language, the information is not sufficient for a decision. Do not assume two offers with the same headline amount have the same conditions.
