Editorial follow-up: maintain a recommendation evidence log
For each recommendation, record the source, date checked, evaluation method and claim it supports. Separate direct testing from information supplied by the vendor. Note any limitations that matter to the intended reader.
When a product changes, this log helps identify which statements need review. It also prevents an old screenshot or another site's conclusion from quietly becoming a claim of current hands-on experience. Publish the relevant method in language readers can understand.
