Posting a collaboration opportunity: include the details

#1
Explain the topic, audience, format, requirements, deadline if there is one, and whether payment or another commercial relationship is involved.

Useful opportunities include expert contributions, relevant content partnerships, and clearly disclosed publisher arrangements. Give enough context for someone to decide whether to respond.

Keep unrelated promotions out of existing discussions.

For a collaboration request, describe the actual contribution needed and the editorial owner. Is the request for a technical reviewer, an original example, or someone to co-write a guide?

Explain attribution, revision approval and any payment before asking people to contribute. A clear brief prevents a vague “partnership” from concealing very different expectations.

A contributor brief should explain editorial approval and ownership before a draft is written. Will the contributor review substantive edits, and who maintains the finished page?

Also identify the original material being requested. That gives a collaboration a concrete purpose and makes attribution easier to agree than a generic invitation to exchange guest posts.
