Turn keyword research into a page plan

#1
Group queries by the problem someone is trying to solve, then inspect the kinds of pages currently serving that need. Decide whether an existing page can answer it or whether a different page type is required.

A useful plan includes the topic, intent, proposed page, existing overlap, and a reason to prioritize it. Search volume is one input; fit with your audience and business also matters.

How do you prevent your keyword list from becoming a collection of disconnected articles?

Add the page's task to the keyword map. A query about selecting a product and a query about fixing it may mention the same item while needing different answers.

Before commissioning another page, identify what the existing page fails to answer. That keeps the map focused on useful coverage and makes overlap easier to review later.
