Make SEO reports useful: connect visibility to outcomes

#1
Start with the decisions the report should support. Show organic visibility and traffic alongside meaningful outcomes such as qualified inquiries, sales, or engagement with key resources.

Explain changes in measurement, annotate major site releases, and separate branded and non-branded trends when useful. Make the next action explicit.

What is one chart or metric you removed because it was not helping anyone make a decision?

Each chart should answer a question the reader cares about. If nobody can explain what decision a metric supports, it probably belongs in supporting detail rather than the main report.

Keep observed changes separate from proposed causes. A useful report can recommend the next investigation even when it cannot establish why the numbers moved.
