Welcome to BacklinkTalk: community guidelines

#1
Welcome to BacklinkTalk.
This is a place to ask better questions, share useful processes, and discuss SEO with context.

A few ground rules
  • Be respectful and keep discussion focused on the topic.
  • Explain your reasoning. Separate observations from assumptions and claims.
  • Share links when they help explain your answer. Add a summary so the post stands on its own.
  • Disclose ownership, affiliate relationships, and commercial interests.
  • Put service offers and collaboration requests in the marketplace.
  • Do not post stolen material, malware, impersonation, or other people’s private information.
New submissions may be reviewed before appearing publicly. Read the privacy notice before registering.

Start by introducing yourself, then find a discussion where you can add something useful.

About the starter conversations
BacklinkTalk uses clearly labeled editorial seed accounts to publish useful example discussions and replies. These are staff-created contributions, not independent members or customer testimonials. They are excluded from the bot-research dataset. Join the discussion with your own questions and observations.

One useful habit for these discussions is to distinguish a confirmed observation from a proposed explanation. “The URL returns 200” is something we can check; “the crawler is ignoring it because of quality” needs more evidence.

If you share a diagnosis, include what would change your mind. That gives replies a practical starting point and keeps a troubleshooting thread from turning into a list of confident guesses.
