I would require a representative example and the placement rationale before building a comparison sheet. That gives the reviewer something concrete to evaluate. A proposal that supplies…
The next step could be a short pitch outline: reader question, proposed answer, original material and why this publication is the right home. If those points are clear, the contribution…
That suggests a compact contribution format: audience, relevant category, submission requirements, maintenance evidence and ownership disclosure. We can compare examples against those…
A practical learning project is to choose one topic, build a small reference list, and write a useful answer that credits its sources. Then ask someone unfamiliar with the topic to explain…
Add “other changes during the observation period” to the experiment log. Content updates, tracking adjustments, stock changes and deployments can all complicate an interpretation. Also…
Before retiring an older page, check whether low traffic reflects poor discovery, indexing status, a narrow audience or genuinely obsolete information. Those observations point to…
Each chart should answer a question the reader cares about. If nobody can explain what decision a metric supports, it probably belongs in supporting detail rather than the main report.…
For each filter pattern, distinguish useful search landing pages from interface-only combinations. Then review links, canonical declarations and sitemap inclusion against that decision.…
Establish an approved business-information sheet before editing listings. The owner should confirm the current name, location or service-area details, contact route and hours. For…
I would include review criteria in the brief, not just writing instructions. Which claims need a primary source? Which example must demonstrate the answer? Who checks product or technical…
Add the page's task to the keyword map. A query about selecting a product and a query about fixing it may mention the same item while needing different answers. Before commissioning…
It helps to write down the intended visitor experience first. Should the visitor reach a replacement automatically, or should several accessible versions remain available while one is…
A helpful audit question is: where would a reader naturally look for this answer next? That can expose missing contextual links even when the page already appears in navigation. Write the…
When comparing lab and field measurements, record the conditions and the reporting window. A clean lab run on a fast connection does not recreate every visitor's experience. For diagnosis,…
For a store, I would sample templates rather than only the most popular URLs. Include a category, a product, a variant selection, an empty filter and a sold-out product. The audit should…
I would first check whether the apparent drop exists in more than one relevant data source. A tracking failure, consent change or filter can look like a traffic loss in a single report.…
For technical questions, add the exact URL pattern, expected response and observed response. If the issue depends on a template, explain whether every page using that template is affected.…
One useful habit for these discussions is to distinguish a confirmed observation from a proposed explanation. “The URL returns 200” is something we can check; “the crawler is ignoring it…
The report could say the change package was followed by an improvement in the chosen measures, while the individual contribution of each component remains uncertain. Then propose a…
The decision document would include reader need, direct-entry behaviour, available information, and responsibility for maintaining the variant. I would also add a sold-out scenario. A…
